Best Place to Meet an Unrepentant Bicycle
Crusader
The Bike Hut is proud to announce that the San Francisco Weekly Magazine has voted us the Best Bike Shop in the Bay Area for 2006!
The
Bike Hut offers rentals, repairs and youth training on Pier 40 in San Francisco's
South Beach. Opened in 1996 as an outpost of the Bicycle Community Project,
it's a resource for local cyclists and a center for skills training for
kids from low-income communities.
Staffed with a shop mentor, mechanics and volunteers, the Bike Hut is a
place to rent bikes, learn to build and repair them, and buy parts and accessories.
Whether you want to rent a bike for a ride on the Embarcadero, pick up some
new gear, or just learn more about bikes, stop by the Bike Hut.
The Bike Hut is open 10 AM to 6 PM Wednesday through Sunday (unless it's raining). The Bike Hut his closed Monday and Tuesday. If you wish to make a donation or learn more about our programs, please contact The Bike Hut at 415-543-4335 or feel free to email us here. We look forward to hearing from you!
